"A society where every woman and girl can realize her full potential — free from discrimination, violence, and exclusion."
WOSCONET envisions an inclusive Nigeria where women's voices shape policy, community, and progress at every level.
"To advocate for the rights, empowerment, and inclusion of women, girls, children, and marginalized groups across Nigeria."
We achieve this through community outreach, policy advocacy, education, healthcare, and strategic partnerships with governments and civil society.
Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET) was established with a profound commitment to bridge the gap in women's advocacy, empowerment, and inclusion in Nigeria. Born from the recognition that systemic barriers continue to limit women's potential, WOSCONET was founded to be a collective voice and a practical force for change.
The organization is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria and operates from its headquarters at Suite 304, CBN Center for Economics and Finance Building, University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC), Enugu State. From this base, WOSCONET extends its programs and advocacy to communities across the country.
WOSCONET's approach is holistic: we do not treat women's issues in isolation. We understand that gender equality is inseparable from access to education, healthcare, economic opportunity, environmental justice, and peace. Our ten advocacy pillars reflect this — addressing the full spectrum of challenges that hold women back.
We work in partnership with government institutions, United Nations bodies, civil society organizations, and community groups to amplify our impact. Our outreach programs include distribution of essential resources, training workshops, medical camps, awareness campaigns, and policy engagement at the state and national level.
WOSCONET is driven by the belief that women supporting women — in communities, in institutions, and in public life — is the most powerful engine of sustainable progress. Every woman we reach becomes a change-maker in her own right.
