WOSCONET's work is structured around ten advocacy pillars that address the most critical challenges facing women, girls, and marginalized communities in Nigeria. Each pillar drives focused, measurable action.
Promoting women's political participation through voter education, gender quota advocacy, and leadership training.
Advancing access to quality education for girls and women, including scholarships and mentorship.
Distributing sanitary pads, building toilet facilities, and teaching hygiene practices to keep girls in school.
Maternal health campaigns, free medical outreaches, and awareness on reproductive and general wellness.
Advocacy against child labour, trafficking, and abuse — championing the rights and welfare of every child.
Distributing mobility aids, promoting inclusive policies, and providing support for people with disabilities.
Entrepreneurship training, market linkages, and financial literacy for women in under-resourced communities.
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene advocacy ensuring clean water and proper sanitation for all communities.
Building community resilience to climate change and empowering women as environmental stewards.
Promoting women's roles in conflict resolution and advancing the UN's Women, Peace & Security agenda in Nigeria.
"We believe that when one woman rises, she lifts others with her. Our network exists to make that rising possible — for every woman, in every community."
Patience N. Ezeaku leads WOSCONET with a commitment to inclusive, transparent, and community-centred advocacy. Under her leadership, WOSCONET has expanded its programs, deepened its partnerships, and amplified its impact across Enugu State and beyond.
Her vision is a Nigeria where no woman is left behind — where access to education, healthcare, safety, and opportunity is a right, not a privilege.
